THE JOURNEY OF A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE

This book talks about the life journey of an outstanding woman, who left Africa, through Europe, and ended up in America to make her lifetime dream come true. Her journey went through lots of challenges as she pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an American citizen. The road to her success story was never discovered on a silver platter. During these difficult moments were a lot of setbacks, but she never at one moment gave up her dreams. She pulled through, stood firm and believed in God in all her endeavors. She had a very strong FAITH, and with that, she knew her story would be a success at the end of her long journey.
Her challenges all started in her country of origin in Africa, Cameroon. After her graduation, the political civil unrest at the time made matters worst for her. Living overseas, Europe was no better. In Europe, she was in and out of jail.........!!!!, but her only hope was that Europe was a stepping stone to her destination, which was the United States of America. She finally entered America while she was carrying a baby, life became more hectic because she was welcomed into the United States in another jail after six and a half months of pregnancy. Notwithstanding, her condition at that time bribed her chance of spending only a few months in jail.
Finally, she made her way through, despite the challenges she encountered on her way.... (Jails, pregnancy, education, and her marriage). Nothing ever stopped this lady from climbing what she calls, The Ladder of Achievement. She always maintained this great philosophy in her life, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". This woman of Substance, a Virtuous woman, succeeded in all these, because of her strong FAITH. Her path of success was so rocky that many in her shoes at that moment would have given up, but Elna kept going and BELIEVED and TRUST and had FAITH in God, that when He does not say it is over, then it is not over................
